Hi! I'm Jose Mari L. Bangalon, and I'm from the Philippines. I'm a both gamer and a cyclist. I really love video gaming and sports; those are my two passions in life. I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I started gaming when I was just 7 years old, playing Super Mario on the Nintendo NES (Famicom or Family Computer in Asia). Super Mario was the hottest thing on the planet back then, so I gave it try to satisfy my curiosity; and I was hooked on video gaming ever since. I have a preference for handheld game consoles though, because I just thought that being able to carry and play your games on the go is just awesome. My favorite handhelds are the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket Color and the early Game and Watch systems. Those Game and Watch handhelds are terrific, I spent a lot of my school allowance renting them during my childhood days. I just love handheld consoles, especially the retro and classic ones. That's why I made a blog dedicated to retro game handhelds, because they are just plain AWESOME. There's just something about those retro handheld consoles that those newer Android/Ipad tablets games doesn't have. That's what makes retro handheld consoles special and irreplaceable.
